Well..this poem reaches out for all those recession-hit failed techies of the IT industry. For whom this jaded dream turned out to be a eternal nightmare.

The new and shiny skyscrappers, ushering globalization.
Reflecting the cityscape in angles of exaggeration
Like huge glass monoliths delineating a generation.
Rather an army. An army at war for self-liberation.
Or maybe a caravan. Lost in the sultry deserts of anonymity.
Despodent,by the virtue of socialy imposed mediocrity
Marooned on a sail-less raft in a wind-less ocean.Niether here nor there.
Drawn by deceptive dreams.Sucked into a respect-crushing vortex.
Well attired puppets in this gilded world of fake social granduer.
Stuck inside walls of glass they hate.Dying to fly.
Shackled by myraid bonds. No time to even cry.
Some die trying.Others don't even bother to try.
No place for beauty here.Even love falls shy.
